Giridhar Srinivasan is CEO and a co-founder at Infraclear.
Giridhar previously worked with the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Infraventures project development fund, Rothschild’s Infrastructure M&A team, and Lehman Brothers Infrastructure Fund. Over a 17-year career in infrastructure, he has worked on over $10 billion of transactions across developed and emerging markets. He grew up in the US, India, and Canada. Giridhar holds a BA with Honors from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Wharton.
Dr. Sylvia Kwakye is a co-founder and VP of Data Science at Infraclear. She is an expert at using natural language processing and machine learning to analyze complex legal documents.
Sylvia honed this skill at the Cornell Legal Information Institute (LII), where she served as LII’s language and data science specialist. Cornell LII serves over 40 million users every year and is the world’s largest legal information platform. for several years, she has also taught NLP to graduate students at Cornell University.
She holds a BS in Engineering and Computer Science from Swarthmore College, and a PhD in Engineering from Cornell University.
KS Mani is CTO at Infraclear. He has over 35 years of software experience. He was employee #5 at Infosys, one of the world’s largest software services companies. He led the development of trading and risk management systems for JP Morgan, Citi, and Silver Point Capital.
Mani has expertise in cloud software architecture, data pipelining, data analytics using machine learning, and information security. He holds a B Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, and an MS in Mathematics & Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He is “ABD” (all but dissertation) on a PhD in Quantitative Biomedicine at Rutgers University.
Haran Sivam is Product Lead at Infraclear. He has 30 years of experience developing and financing solar, hydropower, LNG, natural resources, telecoms, and transport projects across 22 countries. He was a Managing Director at Blackstone and Principal Investment Officer at IFC.
Haran is widely recognized as one of the most original thinkers and doers in global infrastructure finance. Four of the nineteen transactions he completed were named Project Finance Deal of the Year.
Haran led the development of the Bujagali hydropower project on the Nile in Uganda (then the largest power project financing in Africa), the Katt Solar ultra-long duration solar PV + storage financing in South Africa, the SEACOM Africa telecom cable system, and the 1,200 MW Gas Natural Acu LNG-to-Power project in Brazil.
Originally from Sri Lanka, Haran has a deep commitment to developing infrastructure in Africa, where he has traveled over 300 times in his career.
Haran holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University, and an MBA from Wharton.
Sandy Thoyer is VP of Finance and Operations at Infraclear. Previously, she worked in data analytics and marketing strategy at Macy’s, and in business strategy at Chanel. She started her career in tax and consulting at Arthur Andersen.
Sandy holds a BS in Business Administration and a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Wharton.
Alexis Kaldany is a Data Scientist at Infraclear. Alexis holds a BS in Economics from George Washington University, where he is also completing an MS in Data Science. He is a dogged researcher and enjoys working on and transforming complex data sets using machine learning and natural language processing.
Amaechi Abuah is a Software Developer at Infraclear. Amaechi grew up in Nigeria and attended Swarthmore College where he graduated with Highest Honors in Computer Science and Theater.
His academic specializations and research focused on Programming Language Theory, Compiler Design, and applying Machine Learning to analyze Algebraic splines.
While in high school, he won the Nigerian national Physics Olympiad and was the Bronze Medalist at the International Physics Olympiad.
Matthew Salah is a Data Scientist at Infraclear. He holds an MSc from the University of Leeds in Ecological Economics, where he attended as a Marshall Scholar. Matt also holds a BA from Swarthmore College, where he received the Lang Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. His interests include international political economy, green infrastructure, and data analysis.
David is a seasoned data scientist and informaticist along with experience developing and maintaining production level systems for large organizations. In addition to his technical expertise, he brings significant consulting experience in both the public and private sectors, distilling complex data and information to drive impactful decision making.
David grew up in the US, France, and Morocco. He received his BA in Mathematics and BS in Engineering from Swarthmore College, and received his MS and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Suhas Buravalla is a Data Scientist at Infraclear. Suhas holds a Bachelor in Information Science and Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in India, and is currently completing an MS in Data Science at George Washington University. Suhas’s academic research has focused on media regeneration using deep learning models.
Rashad Kaldany is Managing Partner & Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Blue Like an Orange Sustainable Capital. Previously, Mr. Kaldany was the Executive Vice President of Growth Markets for Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (CDPQ), an institutional investor that manages public and para-public pension plans and insurance programs in Quebec Province. Prior to that, he spent 25 years at the International Finance Corporation, where he served as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Kaldany holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Columbia University, and an MBA from Stanford.
Greg Medcraft has had a distinguished career in international finance. He served as the Chairman of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) (Australia's corporate, markets, financial services, and credit regulator). He was Chair of the Board of International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), IOSCO is the leading international policy forum and global standard setter for securities regulation. He also served as a member of the Financial Stability Board.
Mr. Medcraft spent nearly 30 years in investment banking at Société Générale. He was a Managing Director and Global Head of Securitisation, based in New York. He co-founded the American Securitization Forum and served as its Chairman.
Mr. Medcraft has served as a member of the IMF High-Level Advisory Group of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Finance and Technology, a global steward of the World Economic Forum’s initiative on long-term investing in infrastructure, and as a director of the Salzburg Global Seminar.
Mr. Medcraft holds a B.Com from the University of Melbourne.
David Yeh is a Managing Director at CIBC, where he manages CIBC's climate efforts. He served in the Obama White House as a Senior Advisor on Infrastructure. He is a veteran climate investor, and led a $76 billion sustainable energy and transport infrastructure fund at US Department of Energy.
Mr. Yeh has made over 40 impact investments including Tesla, Procore ($10B+ IPO), Climate Exchange ($600M+ carbon exit), Opus One (exit to GE), and many of the largest renewable energy projects of their time. He is an Advisory Board Member at Dartmouth’s Irving Institute for Energy and Society, Confluence Philanthropy, The Climate Trust, IP Group, Terra Alpha Investments, and several climate startups. Mr. Yeh has spoken, written for, and been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Council of Foreign Relations, SXSW, and World Economic Forum.
Mr. Yeh holds a BA in Asian Studies and Biology from Dartmouth College, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
